GameCab Cone - Switch Solution

Example: Low Cone with Switch

Example 2: Low cone attached to switch

Due to the almost lack of availability for the needed Cherry Brand Micro-switch I decided to start looking around for an aftermarket solution for the Low and High Cones Bezels.  One solution that seems to work very well is a micro-switch that can be purchased from Newark Electronics (Newark # 95F7145) (Mfg part#11-131.825N).  The main thing that I like the most about this switch is that the thread count on the micro-switch is an exact match to the Atari style cones.  The second thing is the fact that the lens (Not shown) will fit the diameter of the bezel's hole.

The major drawback with this switch is the price.  A cost of over $10 per switch seemed to face a lot of negative feedback when initially posted.  Please note that if you buy this switch you will also need to purchase a LED and LENS.

Please follow this Link to the Newark website if you are interested in purchasing this switch.
